Actually that may be the biggest understatement of decade. There”’’s an incredible, mind boggling amount of things you can do in wow. There”’’s questing, exploring, raiding, guild activities, trade skills, secondary skills, special seasonal activities, grinding for reputation, world pvp, battleground pvp, the weekly fishing contest, dark moon faire. It just goes on and on.
Because of the huge amount of activities, one common mistake players make is that they don””t put enough (or any) time into making gold in wow. It seems like such an obvious thing to say, but in order to have world of warcraft gold, you have to spend some time making gold in world of warcraft.
The only people who don””t have to take time to make wow gold are those players who violate Blizzard”’’s terms of service and buy cheap wow gold from the gold farming folks. You know, those people who keep spamming mail, whispers and trade channels with their offers. Yesterday my friend was using his Lev 60 hunter to help me run quests for a new char I am grinding. He took me to an amazing spot I hadn’t seen previously.
In the far Western shore/cliff there is a windmill surrounded by about 15 members of the local Derathi thieves guild. This is by no means unique in Westfall, however the amount of them are……and they all INSTA spawn wow gold after being looted. While I was running about killing boars and harvesters for a few quests he sat there and pelted these guys for about 20-30 minutes just to get linen cloth for the AH.
Lo and behold, after about 20 minutes he had 300 linen in his coiffers! So this little spot is SUPERB for low level 10-20 grinding, and also a great money maker at HIGH levels.
Let’s do the quick math on the linen for my pal. As of this morning stacks of 20 linen are selling for 50s on the Zul’Jin AH.
300/20 = 15 stacks
Now assuming he continued making that 300 linen in 20 minutes, multiply that by 3. 600 linen or 45 stacks. That’s 22 gold on the AH. Certainly nothing groundbreaking but for people at lower levels, or even wow gold and higher levels who simply want no risk gold grinding.

Tip 1 - Read your Quest JournalNow we hate to snipe here, people, but the “L” key on your keyboard opens up your Quest Journal. This wow gold handy-dandy little item contains literally all the information you need to solve whatever quest your given. Check it early and check it often because if you’re cluttering up the “General” chat channel asking “Where’s the Wailing Caverns?” 47 times not only will you learn all sort of new Azerothian insults, but when you eventually find the place, it’s not going to win you any friends when you then start looking for a group to explore with. Your Quest Journal has directions so precise they make MapQuest look vague to avoid precisely this situation. Read your Quest Journal! Read your Quest Journal! Read your Quest Journal!Tip 2 - The City Guards are your friends - use them well.This is kind of an adjunct to the whole “Read your Quest Journal” thing, but the other thing that clogs up the general chat channels is people asking for directions in the hub cities. Fortunately Blizzard has come up with a simple solution - just ask a city guard! They’ll give you directions to everything in the city and even provide you with a little flag in your mini-map! You know, the employment situation in Azeroth must be pretty bad when you consider that most of these guards are level 75 or so and can easily wipe out wow gold virtually every monster in the game and they’re taking the time out of their busy schedule to help you. The least you can do is avail yourself of their services. I don’t even think they get paid!

Tip 3 - Every trade skill in World of Warcraft has a complement.

Players can only learn two “professional” trade skills (Fishing, Cooking, First Aid and a few others don’t count). Be aware that with the exception of Enchanting and Tailoring, every trade skill has a “gathering” skill and a “crafting” skill. Blacksmithing, for example, requires raw materials that can only be retrieved by Mining. Be sure you select the appropriate skill; otherwise you will end up buying raw materials at auction or trying to trade your raw materials for finished goods. Tip 4 - The Num Lock key is your auto run.This should be obvious, but you’d be surprised how many players forget to use their auto run. Auto run is your best friend, though. During long runs you can be checking your quest log, futzing with your inventory, or chatting with friends. Use it!Tip 5 - Control your Pets.This, of course, only applies to pet classes (Warlocks and Hunters), but if we had a gold piece for every Warlock and Hunter who left his pet on “Aggressive” we’d - well, we’d have a lot of gold pieces. Your pets are tools. They’re used for very specific purposes. Putting them on Aggressive lets them attack indiscriminately and can draw a lot more monster attention than your group is ready to deal with. All too often a pet on the loose means death for the group and a long, boring corpse run.

World of Warcraft Alliance Player Tips
Tip 6 - Looking to solo? Get yourself a Night Elf Hunter or a Warlock. While there isn’t any one particular character template that works perfectly for soloing, this is about the best that there is on the Alliance side. First, there really isn’t any buy wow gold equal level monster in the game that a properly tricked out Hunter can’t tackle one-on-one without breaking a sweat. While Warlocks are a bit more fragile, they have an excellent complement of damage dealing spells that will let them survive - albeit while taking more damage. Unfortunately, many creatures will attack in groups if they notice one of their buddies getting pounded on (Elite creatures are particularly nasty with this).That’s where pets come in, Any “Pet” class can use their animal (or demonic) companion to do what’s called “crowd control” - basically pulling one creature away from a group and a time and killing it. The Warlock’s Void Walker is particularly good at this. Night Elves quest lines at low levels are also pretty self-contained within the geographically isolated Teldrassil, meaning you never have far to run to reach a quest destination or to retrieve your corpse.Tip 7 - Gnomes have the best (worst) dancing emotes.Trust us on this one. Simply typing /dance into the wow gold game while playing as a gnome will show you what we mean. Gnome dancing is the most offensive thing in Azeroth - rumor has it that the Horde offers 10 gold pieces to anyone who can actually manage to kill a Gnome in PvP during a dance. Therefore it makes Gnomes perfect for role-players who want to annoy other players and have a good laugh.Tip 8 - Everyone loves a Human Priest.This is the perfect class for players looking to group. Humans’ racial talents help a Priest hold his or her own in combat and there isn’t a group alive that isn’t thrilled when a Priest shows up just before heading into an Elite dungeon or an instance. Priests are also pretty rare in the game, there aren’t really all that many players who enjoy taking on the social/support roles, so your skills will always be in demand - and you’ll level pretty fast.

Tip 9 - You don’t have follow the quest lines for your own race!

One of the biggest misconceptions that new players have about World of Warcraft is that quests are restricted by race - in other words, that if you’re playing a Human, you must take the “Human” quests in Elwynn Forest when you start out. That’s simply not true. Players can take any level-appropriate quest regardless of their race. For Alliance players looking to level up a bit faster, there is a bit of a shortcut. Simply head to the hub cities of Ironforge or Stormwind as soon as you’re strong enough to get out of the newbie zone (around level 5). From there, find the cheap wow gold passage to Teldrassil, the Night Elf homeland and start collecting quests. Teldrassil is very small, contains the hub city of Darnassus that offers every service, and players rarely have to run far to complete quests. You’ll find yourself at level 10 or even higher in no time!Tip 10 - The Alliance means more content, but more people.For whatever reason, the Alliance races as a whole (Humans, Night Elves, Dwarves, and Gnomes) are more popular with players. This can often mean severe crowding in popular regions along with what we like to call “mass extinction events”. That basically means that several quests in the area that require players to kill a particular animal may make it hard to find that animal for a while - and that you may be racing other players who are standing around waiting for them to spawn. The good news is that the Alliance has a lot more quest-based content than the Horde. While this isn’t noticeable at the earlier levels, many Horde players often find themselves running low on quests around level 25-30 and being forced to just “farm” random creatures for experience.

World of Warcraft Horde Player Tips
Tip 11 - You will end up in the Barrens - accept it. Throughout the beta process, the one zone that everybody complained about the most was the Barrens, a level 15-20 zone that is quite literally in the center of everything for the Horde. As a result, this zone has the dubious distinction of undergoing almost constant revisions. The good news is, it’s much better than it was - the bad news is, it can still be long and tedious. The thing is, most Horde quest lines eventually send players to the Barrens and it contains access to one of the neutral towns where Horde and Alliance players can get together, so the place is absolutely crawling with players. While that can be good for making friends, it’s also the place that’s the most hunted and overcrowded on the Horde side. Unfortunately, the Barrens is just a fact of life for Horde players - better to go, do what needs to be done, and get out.

Tip 12 - Want to get to level 10 quickly? Visit dead people.
More accurately, visit Undead people. Since Quests aren’t race specific, players can accept any level appropriate quest regardless of their race. That means that Horde players have access to a slight shortcut to level 10 similar to the one enjoyed by Alliance players. In the Horde’s case it means hightailing it to the Orc hub city of Orgrimmar as soon as you can survive the trip and catching a zeppelin ride to Tirisfal Glades. Head south from the zeppelin tower to the Undead town of Brill and start looking for quests. Like Teldrassil for Night Elves, the quests in Brill are a bit easier and can usually be solved without a tremendous amount of traveling, significantly shortening your trip to level 10.

Tip 13 - The Horde has the best and worst hub cities in the game.
Both sides in World of Warcraft have three hub cities designed for players to congregate, buy and sell items, and deal with NPC vendors and trainers. The Horde is blessed with the best and cursed with one of the worst hub cities in the game. The best city to do business with NPCs in is the Undead Undercity. If you have a choice of heading to one hub city, this is the one to pick. It’s the smallest major city, meaning you don’t have to do a tremendous amount of running to get to the shops you want. The city is also basically a circle - meaning it’s almost impossible to get lost. Orgrimmar, the Orc hub city, on the other hand, is incredibly confusing, with twisting paths that sometime loop back on themselves. Orgrimmar means a lot of running and it’s all too easy to get lost. It’s also kind of the center of the universe for Horde players, so you really do need to learn it if you hope to use the auction or make new friends.

Tip 14 - Tired of fighting for elbow room? Join the Horde!
For some odd reason, players seem to choose to play as Alliance characters far more often than as Horde characters. The good news for Horde players, though, is that fewer players mean fewer people jockeying for resources. Even the Barrens, probably the most crowded Horde region, never see the problems with “mass extinction events” that routinely plague the Alliance. If you’re interested in questing and not interested in hanging around with ten other people (at peak hours) waiting for a monster spawn, why not join the Horde?

Tip 15 - The Undead are just psychotically cool!
While everyone has their own opinion, ours is that no World of Warcraft race gets as many “coolness points” as the Undead. First, the character models are just a riot with hairstyles that literally defy physics and a facial customization options straight out of the Velvet Dungeon. The designers also clearly had a ball putting the Undead lands together because every area and storyline within the Undead zones is filled with clever asides and subtle (and not so subtle) humor about the Forsaken’s unusual situation. Role-players will also enjoy playing the Undead since they’re as close as any World of Warcraft race comes to being “evil”. True - they are an oppressed minority, but they’re also planning universal genocide, so you make your own call.

Rogues are general quick-killing twinks, when they crit with an ambush can do 400+ damage, this is in one go, they can gouge and backstab over and over to keep you dealing barely any damage to them whilst they’re getting massive crits and if the have lifestealer, they’re taking all your HP too, so it’s no messing about with these guys, get them out of stealth and keep them unable to use any abilities.

Notes and tips on Rogues:
I strongly suggest you use a dagger in the main hand as it opens up so many possibilities, and with it you can use your most deadly move, ambush, but it’s fully up to you, although probably the strongest Rogue will be a dagger-switch-sword spec, this is a rogue that wields a dagger in main hand, ambushes a target, then, with his sword hotbarred he’ll switch to that and demolish the target using sinister strikes and eviscerates, if he’s a smart rogue he’ll do this:
Ambush, switch to sword, turn on Slice ‘n’ Dice, and whack away with Sinister Strikes and Eviscerates until the target is dead, I know a few more techniques but they require a dodgy spec that wont really be any good, although will be more effective than the above, there’s a chance you would always get your ambush making the whole thing useless, so that’s why I say use the above one, if you ambush fails on the above technique, do a Sinister Strike and hit Slice ‘n’ Dice, for enchants I recommend you go with all with alot of stamina/hp along with tons of agility, but I do suggest you throw in a speed boost enchant somewhere as it’s the key to catching opponents, for weapons I highly suggest Crusader on the main hand and Agility or Lifestealing on the off hand, the reason for this is because off hand is far more likely to miss an attack than the main hand, meaning the proc is far less likely to happen, lifestealing is a very common proc so although it’s shift it can be fine used in the off hand, if you want to play it safe go with agility, both of which are great enchants and again it’s entirely your decision what you pick.

That’s the end of the rogue section.
Hunters

Hunters, this is argued to be better than the rogue, I, have both a rogue and a Hunter twink, I personally think the Hunter is better, just for the sheer amount of survivability and the basic ability to totally dominate the entire BG with your attacks from a long distance. The ability to have a triple-crit Multi Shot and rack up three killing blows and a ton of honor just tops it off, not to mention the fact it’s very, very easy to stay above the competition with a Hunter, although it does have some cons, Hunters suck at flag running, and the biggest con is, well, they can’t beat any class that can slow them, namely Warriors, the Hunter technique is to slow the opponent that gets up close with Wing Clip, run to a distance and range away, doing this over and over again leaving the opponent no chance to even touch the Hunter, if the Hunter is slowed and so is the enemy, well, you’re getting no where and you’re finding yourself, a Hunter, melee’ing, not a good idea, though, they are very very powerful and this con doesn’t much bother me because I can usually take out any warrior before they get to me anyway.

*NOTE* Although Accurate scope requires level 20 to apply to your ranged weapon, you’re ranged weapon will meet the minimum level requirement of your ranged weapon, although a ranged weapon like Venomstrike requires level 19 to equip, it’s actual item level is higher, meaning the scope can be attached to the bow, but you can’t do it, but someone level 20 or above can attach it for you in a Will Not Be Traded slot in the trade window, incase there’s any doubts of whether or not this can be done, it’s a yes, I have it on my Venomstrike.

Talents:

There isn’t really much to go with on Hunter Talent specs, Improved Concussive Shot can be such a life saver, but I myself didn’t spec in it, I’d rather have the improved damage and crit damage as well as a the ability to get those pesky opponents who only JUST manage to get out of the 35 yard range, that used to annoy me beyond belief, not anymore! ^_^ (I use Spec 1), again it’s ultimately up to you, I HIGHLY recommend having 5/5 Lethal Shots no matter what spec you choose because your crits are the key to killing the opponent.

Pet:

The pet can make or break a Hunter, this little companion is very, very useful, there are many pets you can pick, but I recommend only 1, The Boar, why? because it has charge, what charge does incase you didn’t know is charges the opponent and stuns him for 1 sec, I know what you’re thinking, “1 Sec? That’s nothing”, but it is, if a Warrior is charging you and you hit charge quickly, the Warriors charge is over giving you a fighting chance, or when a Warlock is going to Fear you, slam a charge in and it stops it, if he/she trys to fear you again, no chance, you’ve got you pet hammering away which in itself is enough to give you time to take the lock out, but you’re also hitting him too, you have an instant cast shot so basically his cast bar isn’t going up, same goes for mages, they can’t cast, at all, makes a great companion and at times a life saver, if you’re on a tiny amount of HP and you’re trying to run away, root the opponent with your boar and make a quick escape, it makes sense rather than a cat, a cat does some extra damage, so what? this little bad boy saves you from damage, oh it can also be funny to root the Horde flag carrier as he tries to cap a flag and you just whack him out with your sheer ability to take out anything in your path.

Pet Boar:

The Boar I tamed was called a “Longsnout”, these boars are black and look much better than the regular beige colored boars, these boars are level 10 to 11 (Great starting pet as you can tame it right after you finish your hunter quest), this Boar is located in Elwynn Forest, where Hogger is, they’re around that little bit.

You can get Charge Rank 2 from a Greater Goretusk (16-17) in Redridge Mountains.

Bite, Rank 3:
You can get Bite Rank 3 from a Ghostpaw Runner (19-20) in Ashenvale.

You can get Gore Rank 3 from a Greater Goretusk (16-17) in Redridge Mountains.

Notes and tips on Hunters:
There’s alot of technique to Hunters in the higher levels, fortunately there’s not much too specific you have to do that’s too important, just make sure you’ve got tons of agility and you keep the enemy at a distance, make sure you’re using Multi Shot whenever you can even if you’re only up against one of opponent, Multi Shot does extra damage so it makes sense to use it all the time, and about some of the enchants and gear, twink Hunter’s need lots of Intellect too, and can only use a 2H weapon so you should use a the Twisted Chanter’s Staff because it truly owns. , you don’t have to use the Magefist Gloves but I do, I have 1.1k mana which is fine for me, but it’s entirely up to you, this a guide not a restraining order.

Mages

Although mages don’t get their best spells until higher levels, don’t be fooled by their appearance, just because they wear cloth doesn’t mean they can’t slam out loads of instant casts, slowing and rooting spells to leave yourself thinking “What the f**k happened there”, they’re rarely twinked in the 10 - 19 bracket for the simple fact they’re not the best twinks for this bracket, OR SO THEY SAY, if you check the Mage spells for levels 10 to 19, you’ll see there’s not much to offer, the spells look puny and like they can’t do much damage, I beg to differ, if a mage specs properly and has the right enchanted gear they have as much chance of killing rogue as every other class, Mages need to stay back and do their work, keeping their opponents slowed and rooted so they can’t get a hit, whilst you whack away with fireballs and arcane explosions, truly a class they has to be mastered to perfection to fulfil their amazing, understated potential, not a class for the lazy/cheap.

This class isn’t best suited for any faction.
This class is best suited as a Gnome, a Blood elf or an Undead.

There are three talent specs you can go with as a mage, for a twink, Fire and Frost are without a doubt the best, both of them are equally as good… but it’s up to you to decide, personally, I’d go with Fire, because of Pulsating Hydra Heart, I mean, it’s a brilliant twink item, it’s +2 stamina and +7 fire damage what more could you possibly want?, well, the arguement is that you can get double your crit damage in Frost spec, with a 0.5 second cast reduce time on Frostbolt you’re casting it in 1.7 seconds, The problem is… you’re only going to cast a few, crit chances aren’t high and really, it’s not worth it, but then again it’s up to you, arcane DOES have wand spec… which is brilliant… I’m still not entirely sure which is the best mage spec yet… I’m very partial on all 3, I may have to make a twink mage one day…

Notes and Tips on Mages:
I think it’s fair to say these guys are hard work and cost a TON of money on enchants… I did some number crunching and found that Fireball can do up to 168 damage, if you spec in Improved Fireball this is a 2.5 second cast to a possible 336 crit, for frost it can do 98 damage, with Improved Frostbolt this is in 1.7 seconds, it can crit for 196 and with Ice Shards can crit for 294, I think this totally destroys the arguement, this combined with your two instant casts in no match, Frostbolt here is doing 57.6 Damage per second without global cooldown time which I think is 1.5 seconds (Someone correct me if I’m wrong) if it is 1.5 seconds, it’s already run out by the time you’re cast your frostbolt so you’re ready to cast again, but Fireball is doing a massive 67.2 damage per second, AND has higher crits! THEN has the 12 dmage over 8 sec! if this is improved with the gear and enchants the 12 damage turns to 52 damage over 8 sec, I’m not entirely sure if the 18 damage over 9 sec IS improved by the gear and chants I need someone to tell me as I don’t have the means to test it out myself, but is does… Wow… I mean, this is amazing, I’ve never acctually realised how great a mage can be, *NOTE* all this number crunching was done using certain gear and enchants with + plus damage, this again is MAXIMUM, the likely hood of you acctually critting and doing this DPS regularly is very, very low considering all the factors, infact, after doing more research I’ve found this: the minimum for these two spells with the enchanted gear is 125 damage + 12 damage over 8 sec for fireball, the minimum for Frostbolt is 87, Fire wins.

Frost/Fire Power enchant to gloves.
Spell Power to 1H.
Antipodean Rod for Frost spells and Pulsating Hydra Heart for Fire spells.

The following boss fight tactics are based on the current PTR, the final release may vary to a certain extend wow gold.

Nalorakk - Bear Avatar, 1st boss:
Loot Table

It is a 2-Phase fight:

First phase - Human form:

He does a random charge.
Mangle - Increases damage done by bleeds by 100%.

Second phase - Bear form:

Applies 2 different bleed effects.
Raid wide Silence - 4-5 seconds long, does approx 1k damage.

Phase 1 is simply tank and spank. Make sure to heal the random person charged.

Phase 2 have the 2nd tank taunt the boss and be careful of the cleave so make sure the raid is not next to where the 2nd tank is bringing the boss.

When he goes back to human form, have the first tank taunt it, repeat until he is dead.

After this boss you can take your pick at targetting any of the 3 next Avatars first but in terms of difficulty they are listed below.

For the time quest the kill order would logically be: Bear, Eagle, Dragonhawk, Lynx, Malacrass and finally Zul’Jin.
Akil’zon - Eagle Avatar, 2nd boss:

Roughly every 60 seconds he will cast wow gold the his Storm on a random person with an emote. This player is raised up in the air and a cloud appears above them, simply everyone find this person and run under him and you will take no damage. The boss channels this spell so feel free to keep attacking at ranged unless you are lucky enough to have him target a melee next to him, just be carteful not to over-aggro the MT.

This is a basic tank and spank fight with a small twist. Also during the storm have ranged/casters target the eagles in the air and dot/attack them to give you more time on dpsing the boss, the melee just concentrate on the boss himself. A very easy fight, might take a wipe or 2 to understand what is going on.
Halazzi - Lynx Avatar, 3rd boss:

This boss has a tiny amount of hp, roughly 600k. This is a 2 phase encounter that rotates (similar to Nightbane) every 25%.

Phase 1 -

He hits quite hard and also does a Mother Shahraz type of ability like Saber Lash that if it hits more than 1 person the damage received by each person is much less than if it were to hit only 1. Once you get him to 75 % he will go into phase 2.

Phase 2 -

During this phase he will transform back into his Shaman form and spawn a Spirit of the Lynx that has approx 200k hp. Also during this phase he will drop a nasty totem known as: Corrupted Lightning Totem that does chain lightning for approx 5k, maybe some nat res is not a bad idea, but not a necessity. The last ability of this phase is a Flame Shock that he will do randomly to 1 target.

Basically tank and spank in phase 1. When phase 2 occurs, 1 tank stays on the Shaman and the other tank takes the Spirit. You need to dps down the Spirit as fast as possible so you will not stay in phase 2, too long because of the nasty totems.

Kill the totems when they spawn (similar to Tidvalas during the Fathom Lord Karathress encounter in SSC), cleanse people if needed. Rinse and repeat till dead.
Jan’alai - Dragonhawk Avatar, 4th boss:

Jan’alai has 2 major wow gold abilities, and at 35%ish hatches his remaining eggs(explained later)
- He has a 5 minute enrage that is rather unimportant, as it barely increases his damage.

1 - A “Flame breath” type cone that has a long range but a small width, this does about 4-5k to people in a single line and adds up fast (believe to be random target). It is important to minimize its damage by spreading out appropriatly.

2 - He will periodically teleport the entire raid to him, put up “flame walls” on the outer ring of his area so you cannot escape. He will then begin spawning “time bombs” randomly throughout his area. After approximatly 10 seconds they will blow up dealing 3-5k(?) dmg in a 5 yard area, so you need to find a spot that is safe and does not have fire bombs on it. This ability seems to be on a random timer as sometimes he will forget about it and other times he will spam it.

Throughout the fight he calls 2 “Hatchers”(Low HP) which run to the side and begin hatching eggs into dragonhawks at an increasing rate. You need to Kill 1 Hatcher as soon as possible and go give the 2nd one a hug, tanking and killing the dragonhawks he spawns (we would normally do about 5-7 hawks at a time and just draw out the fight).
When you are comfortable with the amount of hawks spawned, kil the hatcher and mop up the remaining hawks. This is the hardest part of the fight as you will have to heal alot of raid damage due to the small area of the egg platforms and the damage his fire breath does, you should assign at least one healer to go with the group that willl kill eggs, preferably one that is good at raid healing (CoH priest, resto shaman etc). The other difficult part of this fight is his ability to port and put up fire walls to the egg spawns while the hatchers are busy hatching eggs, causing you to get zerged so be careful!

The dragonhawks individually have a stacking flame buffet, and a fire damage based proc on top of their normal melee which is about 1k~ on leather.

The tactics to this boss are really, really simple
1) Minimize his fire breath damage when he isnt spawning hatchers
2) When hatchers spawn kill one, send the group to kill dragonhawks spawned by the other one.
3) Dont die to the fire bomb minigame.
4) Make sure you hatch almost ALL of the eggs before 35% (yes this means light dps for the entire fight), or you will be horribly zerged.
5) Profit
Hex Lord Malacrass, 5th Boss: (in-complete info)
Loot Table

He starts with 4 random adds. Possible known adds:

Ogre - Melee add, Sheep him.
Imp - Fireball Spam, possible banish or kill quickly.
Dragonkin - Flamebreath & Thunderclap, sleep him/kill quickly, if you get this add, preferrably killing is a good option.
Undead - melee and instant casts, shackle him.
Blood Elf - Heals. Interupt heals/Kill quickly.
Serpent - Posion bolts. Sleep it / kill quickly, like the Dragonkin, killing it is preferred due to your druid does not have to shapeshift.

People seem to kill 1 or 2 of the adds before focusing on the boss.

Malacrass:

Does a nasty dot that lasts for approx 15 sec and deals roughly 300-400dmg per tick.

During the fight randomly he will Soul Drain 1 random person, he will take on 2-3 abilites of that persons class. He will continue to use these new abilities till he Soul Drains another victim and repeats a new cycle of attacks.

Every minute or so he will drain everyone of their power by 1% and giving it to himself, thus increasing his size and his damage by 10%.

Tank and spank and deal with the new abilities he may gain.

Every phase change he does do a threat wipe, when he turns into an Eagle you do not need to worry about a threat list though as explained below. He changes phases every 20%.

Phase 1:
Watch out for his whirlwind (melee range). He also casts a debuff similar to the one in Slave Pens that does a dd and then ticks until the player is topped off. Seems like it was only around 2500-3000 damage, so if you are good at assist healing you can downrank accordingly to top them off just enough so they do not take any ticks.

Phase 2:
As soon as he starts this phase you will notice everyone gets a Paralysis debuff. Dispell it off the main tank and yourself, then other healers if time (or the tank doesn’t need a heal). DPS etc do not need it dispelled. After 5 seconds of having the debuff, you will become stunned and take a little damage, assign someone to top people off before the next. He can hit decently hard, so keep the tank topped.

Phase 3:
Stay away from the tornados that spawn and move around the room. They knock you back and deal around 1k damage. If you are a caster (yes healers included) everytime you cast you will get hit for about 1250 damage. The key thing to do in this phase is not get cornered by tornados and stay alive. Heal over time spells really make this phase much easier. Melee need to try and burn him down as quick as they can as they get no punishment for doing damage.

Phase 4:
Lynx form he melees fairly weak all around. He also will fixate upon a random player in the raid and melee them. Intervene near the end of the 10 second or so phase to help out squishy people. Also does a weak version of the whirlwind Leotheras / end boss of Shattered Halls. I think it also places a debuff on people that will make them take more damage, it’s either this or the fixate. Watch debuffs and note that that person will need extra heals.

Phase 5:
As stated above, you will get a cheap wow gold buffet like debuff put on you every so often. He will choose random people throughout the raid and place a beam of fire on them. If they are not topped they will probably die due to the debuff. It’s a simple phase if people are good at staying out of void zones.
