Funnily enough as commonplace as some of these memes are, quite a few people have no idea where they originated from. I think that this is a situation that should be remedied immediately. So without further ado, here are my personal favorite World of Warcraft related memes and their origins.

Leeroy Jenkins
Ben Schulz (better known as the infamous Leeroy Jenkins) is probably one of the best known players ever in World of Warcraft. Forever immortalized in a video showing his guild (&lt,led lights;PALS FOR LIFE>) planning out a strategy for taking out the eggs in the Rookery in Upper Blackrock Spire. Leeroy, supposedly AFK, comes back to the wow gold computer and before his party is fully prepared charges into the Rookery popping every egg in sight screaming the line that made him famous, “LEEROOOOOOOYYY JEEENNKIIINNSSS!!!!”.  His party members rush in behind him into the fray and quickly wipe. The movie ends with Leeroy saying, “At least I have chicken” (the guild‘s favorite snack is KFC according to Ben).

Since the video was released, Leeroy’s guild has admitted that while the video was based on an actual event, the video itself was staged. Regardless, this video has made Leeroy’s name synonymous with any action that could be potentially stupid, and lead to less than desirable consequences. The video became so popular that Blizzard and the rest of the world took notice. Leeroy was asked to attend Blizzcon 2007 where he preformed his famous line for the crowd, and an achievement was added to the game to gain the title Jenkins by killing those pesky whelps.

Leeroy has also been mentioned on Jeopardy, been made into a trading card in the World of Warcraft Trading Card game, and is even made reference to in several shows and commercials. The video itself is fun, and a must see for any World of Warcraft player.

More DOTs - Onyxia Wipe Video
Think your guild leader is a real jerk? Then you obviously haven’t watched this video. Starring a very angry raid leader, with an interesting accent, a foul temper and a big mouth, this video  follows the adventures of the guild <Wipe Club> in it&rsquo,folding bikes;s attempt to defeat Onyxia, back when Onyxia was 40 player. Ah, memories.

Apparently the guild had had enough of their guild leader’s antics and to get some revenge, they recorded their voice chat for the night and cheap wow gold posted it for all the world to hear. Almost every World of Warcraft player has seen someone mention Mankrik‘s wife. If you have no idea who  Mankrik’s poor wife is, and why the heck people are looking for her, let me explain.

Finding Mankrik’s Wife is part of the quest Lost in Battle (Horde only), in which Mankrik asks you to find his wife, who he believes to have fallen in battle. Mankrik, being the helpful quest giver he is, offers no directions, and he also doesn’t mention that there is no NPC actually called “Mankrik’s Wife”. This results in tons of requests in Barrens chat for her location. This tends to annoy more experienced players, or even less experienced players who have seen the question pop up for the 50th time that day.

Chuck Norris has appeared in numerous action films, and even began his rise to stardom as a martial artist. Always playing the tough guy, the image stuck and resulted in the various Chuck Norris facts which appeared in 2005 as a by-product of the Vin Diesel Fact Generator. Conan O’Brien’s Chuck Norris jokes are also seen as a inspiration for it’s popularity. These “facts” attribute various (and mostly impossible) feats and traits to Norris. Norris has stated that he is not offended by these,nfl jerseys, and actually finds some of them funny.

Once again, this meme phenomenon did not begin in the World of Warcraft universe however it is heavily used and I thought it deserved a spot on the list (mostly because O rly is one of my favorite responses to just about anything, even in real life).

The details of O rly’s beginnings seem rather sketchy, however at least as early as August of 2003 O rly could be found being used on the Something Awful Forums. Eventually it made it’s way to 4chan and became connected with a bunch of images, the most popular being a snowy owl picture captured by nature photographer John White.

O rly literally meaning “Oh, really” can either be used in friendly conversation, or as a sarcastic response to someone you feel as no idea what they are wow gold talking about. The most common response to O rly is Ya rly (Yeah, really).

HealBot – Review
I’ll start this review off with a story. Back a long time ago in the days of Molten Core I found myself in a very sticky situation. I had to raid heal content that we were way overgeared for in order to farm Nexus Crystals to pay for Naxxramas attunements. I didn’t want to search names out to heal and healing assignments for a 40-man raid were few and far between especially for content you overgear.

So I found an addon that would show the players with the least amount of health on top. I’d spam flash heal on that person over and over and was always #1 in healing and nowhere on the overhealing meters. That was because it was a very efficient way to heal and the addon provided a service. It let me heal content I didn’t want to pay attention to without much problem.

In a lot of ways,folding bikes, HealBot works something similar to this. You can click on a person’s name and you’re healing them. You can use different key combos to accomplish this and it works. For that, I can say this addon is a success. However, the story goes on.

The addon was useless wow gold however for real raiding because the person with the lowest health wasn’t always the person you wanted to heal. You wanted to heal people who were about to take environment damage, people who weren’t standing behind a wall, etc. There was a lot more than “x person is the lowest HP person” because it’s DPS’s responsibility to take cover when they’re almost dead. Use a potion, hit mana shield, whatever!

In the same way, that’s how I feel about HealBot. It provides a way to heal easily right out of the box, but easy healing isn’t good healing all the time. The key combos you use in HealBot are only for HealBot. If you click someone in the raid you’ll need to use the game’s regular keybindings in order to heal them. If you’re doing that then why do you need a fancy addon to switch over to?

"So if you’re looking for click-casting right out of the box inside of a raid frame that tells you everything then HealBot satisfies that demand."If we ignore that then the addon is rather solid. It does what it’s designed to do and it does it well. There isn’t a lot of memory usage and it does exactly what it offers. Skinning is rather difficult and the settings menu is very confusing, but with any kind of addon like this you’re going to find the customization to be very in-depth and hard to figure out. So if you’re looking for click-casting right out of the box inside of a raid frame that tells you everything then HealBot satisfies that demand.

However, if you’re looking for a way to heal better then there are many other addons and many other ways to go about doing it. Not to mention you can add click-casting to any other raid frame with “Clique.” HealBot used to automatically downrank for you as well, which would be big, if downranking wasn’t long ago nerfed. So that just leaves HealBot as a raid frame replacement. As a raid frame replacement it lacks in many areas. It doesn’t fit as much information into a smaller area like Grid (or in some people’s opinions VuhDo). It does show you everything other addons show you, but other addons do a lot better of a job of it. The way HealBot shows HoTs also take up space on the healthbars, making them harder to see.

So really, to me, HealBot doesn’t add anything new or exciting to the world of raid frames. I would say if you’re the type who clicks skills then you’re going find this addon to be awesome but that can come cheap wow gold with any raid frame replacement. This just does it out of the box. However, looking at the best gaming mouse out there,led lights, the MX518, you only have so many buttons on your mouse before you’d have to resort to your keyboard. If you’re using the arrow keys to move then you’re at a disadvantage to use any kind of spiffy combos.

So even then, it’d probably be better to just train your hand to use WSAD for movement and learn how to press keys to use heals. Most healers only use a few heals (Druids use Wild Growth, Lifebloom, Regrowth, Rejuv, and Nourish or a total of five heals) so it’s not hard to bind those to keys near your movement keys and heal efficiently.

Hard-Modes
Nachdem sich das "Hard-Mode&quot,led lights; Konzept im Sartharion Kampf etabliert hat, setzt Blizzard dieses in Ulduar fort. Während die Instanz auf dem normalen Schwierigkeitsgrad nur eine leichte Steigerung gegenüber Naxxramas darstellt, steigern die Hard-Modes ihn in Sonnenbrunnenplateau Regionen. Um den Schwierigkeitsgrad zu senken, könnt ihr die vier Türme am Boden vor der Initialisierung des eigentlichen Boss-Kampfes zerstören. Jeder aktive Turm erhöht die Gesundheit des Flammenleviathans um 25%, fügt dem Kampf ein bis zwei Laserstrahlen hinzu und gibt dem Boss eine weitere Eigenschaft.

XT-002 Dekonstrukteur / XT-002 Deconstructor

Eine Beschleunigung der Kampfes ist hier der Hard-Mode. 3 Minuten sind das Ziel, welches durch 9.000 - 10.000 DPS pro Spieler erreicht wird. Diese Werte können durch die Buffs der NSCs erreicht werden.
Schwierigkeitsgrad: leicht

Thorim
Bei sehr schneller Durchquerung des Tunnels in Phase zwei, verschwindet Sif nicht und kämpft in Phase 3 an Thorims Seite. Sie fügt dem Kampf zahlreiche Frostzauber hinzu, kann aber nicht angegriffen werden.
Schwierigkeitsgrad: mittel

Freya
Wie schon bei Sartharion bringen die wow gold drei Ältesten neue Komponenten mit in den Kampf und erhöhen Freyas (sowie aller anderen) pro Ältesten (Baum) um 25%. Erdbeben á la Ignis Flammenstrahlen, gewurzelte Spieler und tödliche Sonnenstrahlen gestalten das neue Kampfgeschehen.

Qui dit le Cœur du Magma, dit immanquablement Ragnaros, son terrible gardien, maître des élémentaires de feu, lieutenant cheap wow gold des Dieux anciens, une des seules créatures du monde qui a osé défier les Titans, ces colosses créateur du ciel et de la Terre.

Chat pitre 1 : L’origine de Ragnaros

Bien avant que les Titans n’arrivent pour façonner la Terre et créer les êtres que nous connaissons, 5 Dieux, aujourd’hui oubliés, avaient le contrôle total de la Terre et régnaient grâce aux forces élémentaires qu’ils avaient invoqué du Néant. Ces élémentaires était dirigés par des entités surpuissantes : les maîtres élémentaires immortels.

Ragnaros, le Seigneur du Feu, en fait parti et à ce titre était un des plus puissants lieutenants des anciens dieux avec ses semblables: Therazane la Mère de la Pierre, Al’Akir le Seigneur du Vent et Neptulon le Chasseur de Marée. Ragnaros commandait sans partage à tous les élémentaires de feu qui existait à cette époque et était complètement dévoué à ses maîtres qui l’avaient amené du Néant.
Mais le jour où les Titans arrivèrent et voulurent stopper le chaos, créer de nouvelles races et mettre de l’ordre sur ce monde, ils se heurtèrent aux anciens Dieux et aux forces élémentaires.
Les anciens Dieux commandèrent aux élémentaires de chasser ces nouveaux arrivants, car ils représentaient une menace sur la main mise qu’ils avaient sur ce monde.

Chapitre 2 : Le retour de Ragnaros (c’est pas du déjà vu?)

La guerre des 3 marteaux* atteignait son paroxysme et pour l’emporter Thaurissan, chef du clan Dark Iron, invoqua les anciennes puissances qui sommeillaient dans les entrailles de la terre, où était confiné Ragnaros. Des sorciers buy wow gold puissants savaient comment rappeler les élémentaires de leur plan, et plus ils étaient nombreux et puissant, plus les élémentaires invoqués était fort. Mais, Thaurissan et les sorciers Dark Iron étaient d’une puissance insoupçonnée sous le coup de la fureur et du désir de vaincre leurs frères nains.
Thaurissan savait que Ragnaros et ses semblables avaient été bannis dans un plan par les Titans et que même lui ne pourrait les rappeler sur terres. Cependant, au lieu d’essayer d’invoquer l’élémentaire, on pouvait invoquer une partie de son plan directement sur la terre. Ce qui aurait pour résultat effectif de le ramener.
L’invocation fût réussie et l’élémentaire, dans la fureur de son « réveil », transforma la région paisible en volcan et déchaîna des torrents de lave à travers la zone que l’on appelle aujourd’hui les Steppes Ardentes. Là où avant il y avait une vaste prairie semblable aux Carmines, le feu a tout emport&eacute,coffee mugs; et a fait de cette région un véritable enfer à ciel ouvert.

Chapitre 3: Le maître du Cœur de Magma

Ragnaros reste prisonnier de son plan d’existence, lié à Sulfuron sa forteresse, conformément à la magie des Titans. Mais une partie de son plan est rentré en contact avec notre monde, donc il peut s’y matérialiser. Il reste cependant très faible car à l’extrême limite de son plan d’existence mais cependant interférer avec le monde des mortels.
Il a sous ses ordres quelques lieutenants, tel Garr et Geddon qu’il a fait venir de son plan ainsi que de nombreuses autres entités pour l’aider dans l’optique de sa libération. Il se protège ainsi grâce à un système de runes que garde divers lieutenants et seul son majordome - Executeus - peut l’invoquer. Il se sert aussi des nains Dark Iron pour pouvoir défendre l’entrée de sa forteresse.

Plusieurs personnes, dont les seigneurs Hydraxiens et Néfarian ont compris en voyant ces golems que Ragnaros avait perçé une partie du secret de la vie et ont juré de l’arrêter à tout prix. Il paraîtrait même que Néfarian serait très intéressé par le secret de l’élémentaire…
Le boss qu’on affronte est donc wow gold un avatar de Ragnaros, ce qui entraine qu’il est beaucoup plus faible que dans son plan et sa forteresse de Sulfuron. Et étant donné qu’il est immortel à chaque fois que son avatar se fait tuer dans le Cœur du Magma, il ne subit rien en réalité, si ce n’est une douleur mentale et un affaiblissement dû à la perte de son avatar. On estime que libéré de son plan, Ragnaros serait la plus puissante entité du monde de World of Warcraft actuel. Mais c’est sans compter sur les anciens Dieux et les autres seigneurs élémentaires qui restent bannis.

Sie ist direkt mit der dortigen Schlachtzug-Instanz, der Schlacht um den Hyjalgipfel, verbunden und genau diese ist der einzige Ort, an dem ihr nach Abschluss der Vorquestreihe euren Ruf bei den Wächtern der Sande verbessern könnt.

Wie schon in Ahn’Qiraj und Karazhan bekommt ihr auch bei den Wächtern der Sande mit jeder Rufstufe einen neuen bzw. besseren Ring.

Die im Schwarzen Tempel und dem Hyjalgipfel erbeuteten Klassenset-Tokens lassen sich nur bei Tydormu im Eingangsraum kids furniture der Hyjalgipfel-Instanz eintauschen. Das Eintauschen erfordert aber keinen bestimmten Ruf.
